Emergency plan for side slip of electric care bed

1. The nurse quickly determines the cause of the side slip of the electric care bed and immediately restores the patient's safe position.
2. If the person cannot recover, the other person immediately asks for support from others. The medical staff stand on both sides of the electric care bed to support the patient's body, release the bed sheet fixing device as soon as possible, and place the patient in a safe position.
3. Comfort the patient, relieve tension and fear, observe the patient's condition, ask the patient for any discomfort, check the body for damage and scratches, report to the doctor immediately if there is any damage, cooperate with the doctor for disposal according to the doctor's order, and monitor the changes of vital signs.
4. The patient who is on mechanical ventilation should quickly connect the pipeline, observe the change of the condition, and give pure oxygen inhalation if necessary.

5. Check the presence of each pipeline of the electric nursing bed and fix it properly. If the pipeline slips, it should be reconnected or replaced immediately to keep it unobstructed.
